National Quantum Sensor Programme Workshop

On 14 August 2024, the Quantum Engineering Programme (QEP) organized a workshop in conjunction with the launch of the National Quantum Sensor Programme (NQSP). The workshop aims to foster collaboration between industry, user-agencies, and researchers to co-develop quantum sensors.

First Singapore Quantum Industry Day

The National Quantum Office (NQO) organized a Quantum Industry Day. The event was held on 10 February 2023 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre City. The event marks the first installment of a planned series, which aims to foster robust partnerships between industry and researchers in the Quantum field.

ATxSG 2023

Mr Rakesh Jaiswal, Chief I&E Officer (CIEO) of National Quantum Office (NQO) chaired a session at this year’s ATxSG 2023 held on 7 Jun 2023. The session, also titled Quantum Technology Summit was a full-day session held at Singapore Expo. This session was one of eight tracks at the TechXLR8 track of 2023 ATxSG event.

Quantum.Tech APAC Summit

The Quantum.Tech APAC Summit, a pioneering event in the Asia Pacific region, took place from 4 to 5 April 2023 at the Equarius Hotel, Singapore. This summit was organized in partnership with the Quantum Engineering Programme (QEP), which is operating under the administration of the National Quantum Office (NQO).

To enable organisations to accomplish complex missions, Amazon Web Services (AWS) democratises access to quantum technologies in driving innovation towards industry-focused solutions. In collaboration with the National Quantum Office, exciting progress has been made in the acceleration towards building mainstream capabilities in the cloud.

We have provided access to quantum computers with A*STAR and the National University of Singapore (NUS) to develop quantum cloud solutions and quantum algorithms across a range of industries, including manufacturing, logistics, and financial services. We are excited by the potential of the National Quantum Strategy to further develop this important national initiative.
